New ED hired for OBEPNovember 17, 2008It is with great pleasure that the Ontario Business Education Partnership (OBEP) announces the appointment of our new Executive Director, Sherryl Petricevic.
Sherryl comes to us with over 25 years of experience in the corporate, educational and not for profit sectors, including senior roles at Communitech Technology Association and the Business & Education Partnership of Waterloo Region. She has a diploma in Business Operations from Georgian College and is a graduate of the social leadership program, Leadership Waterloo Region. She is experienced in developing vision and strategy for new and emerging programs and services. Her strategic skills are complemented by extensive experience in managerial and influencing roles and she has demonstrable success in developing a large network throughout the community among industry, local school boards, government agencies and other organizations.

She looks forward to working with all of us to strengthen the value and impact of OBEP and its members to the communities in which we live.
The Ontario Business Education Partnership is a dedicated group of community based not for profit organizations across Ontario committed to advancing business-education cooperation in support of workforce and economic development.
OBEP supports local organizations that promote and facilitate partnerships between education, business, community organizations and government. One of the goals is to enhance education and employment opportunities for the students of Ontario through support from the Passport to Prosperity program.
